They've been saying that for my entire adult life. First they used TMI as an excuse why we can't have nice things, then Chernobyl, and most recently Fukushima.
It was so depressing to read the first section which just shows how mad the Environmentalists are and how far countries have followed their doommongering philosophy. Cheered up a bit in the second section but my God we have a long fight in front of us.
For 2023, potentially this one of US President Biden driving an EV Hummer (already a horrible use of battery resources) while boasting about EV tax credits. The Hummer doesn't qualify for these credits however.
In Canada, Trudeau and his cabinet should have a category all of their own. Just staggering the level of stupidity these folks exhibit. Evidently there's no cure for stupid....
No one beats Justin Trudeau, the only person on the planet unaware there is a business case for LNG.
The first hint: leaders of two of the largest economies on earth fly for hours to come see you to ask for LNG betrays that there might be a business case.
Terry Etam had what i think was the best comment on this, that when the German Chancellor came looking for usable energy, Trudeau handed him a crayon drawing of a hydrogen plan.
